We offer large military discounts, easy monthly payments & arrangements, low income discounts, free tubs to use, & donate birth kits for those in need. We are also happy to negotiate contracts for those who may not be low income but still struggle to afford care, and accept barter arrangements.

During prenatal care, the woman and her family lead care.

We spend time discussing all the aspects of health, diet, exercise, breastfeeding, baby care, and raising family, as well as the standard obstetrical care evidence and options, and how they fit for your needs and health.

We actively teach the aspects and design of pregnancy, labor, and birth-
because as women, it is our obligation to teach this to our next generation,
and this knowledge is sacred, and protects our generations from the adversary.

When you make decisions for your care, we want you to feel fully informed, supported, and know that we can prayerfully and intuitively make these decisions as pregnant women, without coercion, fear, or force.

24/7 ON CALL Labor & Delivery CARE AT HOME - as hands on or hands off as you desire.

Parents are encouraged at their discretion and desire, to guide the aspects of their care,
whether to catch their own baby, to weigh their own baby, or complete any care for themselves and their newborn with the guidance they need or request from their midwife.
This may look like a hands off or unassisted delivery with your midwife present, delivering your own placenta, or participating in the newborn exam. The choice is always yours.

Our team is very gentle and quiet, and will ask your consent before even touching your belly to listen to your baby.

We do NOT do routine vaginal exams, we do NOT put time limits on labor, we do not routinely risk out at 42 weeks, and we do not discuss any aspects of your care in secret.
Everything belongs to you, and we are a collaborative team, the family and the midwives.

During delivery, we encourage parents to catch and meet their baby on their terms, with or without help.

We keep the cord intact until the placenta is delivered, and baby stays on your chest for the first hour or longer!
ALL EXAMS ARE DONE WHILE YOU HOLD OR SIT NEXT TO YOUR BABY, AND EXAMS CAN BE DONE BY THE PARENTS if they choose.

Lab work, ultrasounds, MFM and OB referrals, and standard testing for mom and newborn

We believe midwives should be able to use their skills without forcing a model of care on women, and at the same time, have the skills and experience to know when care might be outside our scope.

All standard prenatal testing & newborn screening is included at the parent’s discretion with full evidence based informed consent.

We have excellent and honest relationships with local obstetric providers, and believe that both models of care can compliment one another and even save lives.
We have worked hard on these relationships, alongside our safety protocols for your care, to ensure that you have multi level support, and smooth transitions, should you need a referral, or need to transfer care.

Family oriented and involved care.

Children and family members are invited at the parents discretion.
Children are encouraged to participate in pregnancy care, and labor support, at their comfort level.

STUDENT MIDWIVES

We actively employ qualified student midwives as homebirth assistants.

We are honored and hopeful, to change the old dynamic of “unpaid apprenticeships” for qualified, hardworking birth workers.

While we do not currently offer fulltime apprenticeships, we do offer qualified student midwives to work as assistants.

Therefore, our birth assistants are often student midwives with specific experience and qualifications, and are paid to attend your labor and birth as a qualified assistant should be.

This is a value to the client, as certain student midwives often have more clinical experience than birth assistants. It is a value to the midwife, to have a second qualified attendant with clinical skills, and importantly, it is a value to the community of student midwives, and to the traditional model of “each one, teach one”, and midwifery traditions of sharing ancient wisdom.

You may opt out of student attendance, or student clinical care, at any time with private consent forms.

Birth planning & Childbirth education

With a focus on the Creator’s design and the body’s natural safeguards, autonomy and advocacy, birth planning and childbirth education is available to those planning hospital, home, birth center, or unassisted birth.

HOSPITAL DOULA CARE & ADVOCACY

We have the best doulas to provide you with the best hospital support, should you choose to or need to have your baby in the hospital. Our doulas are trained as advocates with a with mutli-level experience. From planning a cesarean to last minute changes to your birth plan, we have the best teams for you!

LEGAL CONSULT & REFERRAL SERVICES

Hospital transfers that become a battle , OB offices or hospitals withholding records, these are things we have to accept as potential ramifications when we have to transfer in for hospital delivery, or we need to utilize an unfriendly obstetric provider for the health of baby & mother.
We can now provide a consult service with a local attorney, included with your care, and provide referrals for full legal representation to attorneys with incredible reputations & who are familiar with homebirth.

IN HOME POSTPARTUM & NEWBORN CARE

All of our postpartum services are in your home. No need to travel to an office for weight checks or breastfeeding support!
